DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy hot coffee\, breakfast\, and conversation\, this is the place to be on Thursday\, November 17th! Please join the Greater Latrobe-Laurel Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Latrobe NEXT Career Pathways Program for a networking event. Bring your business cards\, "60 second business pitch"\, hungry stomach\, and start your day with us! Youngstown Grille will be catering the event. Come enjoy scrambled eggs\, bacon\, home fries\, and their famous homemade donuts! \n\nNot only is this an opportunity to promote your business\, but it is also a way to connect with the NEXT Career Pathways Program\, which helps set up job shadowing and mentorship opportunities for Greater Latrobe Senior High School students. This event is open to all professionals in our community that would like a chance to network with other professionals as well as become a potential resource for the NEXT Career Pathways Program.\n\nWe will also have our Cat's Customs class in attendance\, who will be selling merchandise at this event! Fashion\, design\, and business collide in this hands-on\, project-based learning course where students are responsible for running and operating a custom apparel (and more) business! Students use a variety of tools to create their custom creations\, including a Cricut\, heat press\, laser engraver\, 3D printer\, embroidery machine\, etc. Cat's Customs provides students the opportunity to express creativity\, connect and network with local businesses\, provide a service to the community\, and challenge themselves to successfully operate and market a small business.  Guests will be able to purchase Latrobe-themed and pop culture-themed merchandise with cash only. Items for purchase will include stickers\, keychains\, apparel\, and more. \n\nIn addition\, students from our Business Communications course will be acting as greeters and ushers for this event!\n\nWe hope that you will consider spending your morning with us! There will be plenty of opportunities to interact with students\, faculty\, staff\, and administrators and see what makes Greater Latrobe GREAT!
